Vacancy: Electrical Technician - Devoll Hydropower Sh.A. - Albania

The position of Electrical Technician for operation and maintenance of Statkraft’s Power Plants in Devoll River, will be part of a professional team that is responsible for managing the electrical works of Banja and Moglice HPPs. The position shall report to the Maintenance Manager.

Your role: 

Areas of responsibility will include but not limited to:

• Conduct site inspections in alignment with the check-schedule and summarize findings

• Make regular checks and maintenance on the equipment and systems according to the Maintenance System Fault finding

• Prepare maintenance reports as well as analyses on the maintenance conducted

• Take part in the cleaning activities of the machinery and equipment

• Be an independent user of the maintenance system in SAP 

• Actively contribute to the safety at the workplace and make sure that the company HSS rules are followed

• Inspire and drive improvement 

• Conduct additional tasks/duties, as to be requested by the line manager

Your profile:

• Electrical education, undergraduate / postgraduate qualifications or equivalent as a technician for electrical works
• 3 years relevant work experience
• Experience from the electrical industry.
• Experience for low / medium / high voltage equipment – installation, maintenance and operation.
• Certificates/trainings related to operation and maintenance of hydropower plants including high voltage equipment (as per the requested categories of the Albanian prevailing laws)
• Good knowledge of the Albanian language, both written and verbal
• Basic English knowledge and willingness to take training to improve the language skills
• Team player and good service-minded personality
• Driving license for car
• High level of integrity
